Executive Director - Alice L. Byers Alice Byers worked for Coastal Bend College-Alice for over 22 years. She served as Campus Director for 15 of those years. During that time, she was responsible for the day-to-day operations of the campus. In addition to her regular duties, she supervised instructors and support staff, worked with contractors, and assisted with the development of several state and federal grant applications to fund much-needed programs. She also worked closely with community leaders to expand the skills and knowledge of their employees, as well as in the growth of the local economy. |  |
Byers has served on the Board of Directors for the Alice Chamber of Commerce, including terms as President and Vice-President. She has also been a member of the Rotary Club of Alice, Rotary Club of Kingsville and co-chaired the committee to begin the Rotaract Club at Texas A&M University-Kingsville. Byers is a 1984 graduate of Texas A&M University-Kingsville, where she obtained her Bachelor's of Business Administration. She then went on to receive a Master's of Business Administration (Texas A&M University-Kingsville) and additional graduate hours in adult education (Texas A&M University-College Station). Byers lives in Kingsville with her husband Travis. She has three grown children, all graduates of Texas A&M Kingsville, and five grandchildren. |
